There is a difference!


to be honest, i haven’t noticed the difference until i made this picture – see the gloss at the printed screw? the actual mounted screw is less glossy due to not beeing cooled while printing. i will make tests if there is a difference. if so, it can be a nice feature for texturizing surfaces… have to controll the pump with RAMPS to control it via G-Code…

and, of course, there is a larger difference in the appearance:



A small SchorschXY with 100mm³ should be made out of the new printed parts to print faster. Shorter rods and fishing-line will keep vibration-artefacts away up to speed i think… at this moment the outer perimeter is printed at 20mm/s. the rest at 40.
